Donald Trump took to Twitter early this morning to share his frustrations.

The world is in a weird place right now. Donald Trump – the President of the United States – is an avid tweeter; and it gets him in trouble a lot. Known for his late night/early morning musings, the POTUS has opted for a more blunt and brash writing style on the social media platform. Early this morning, he initiated an exchange with actor, Alec Baldwin; his impersonator on Saturday Night Live.

Trump just caught wind on Baldwin's comments on his Trump impression, "Every time I do it now, it's like agony. Agony. I can't." Donald then fired up his Twitter fingers early this morning to write, "“Alex Baldwin, whose dieing mediocre career was saved by his impersonation of me on SNL, now says playing DJT was agony for him. Alex, it was also agony for those who were forced to watch. You were terrible. Bring back Darrell Hammond, much funnier and a far greater talent!” The tweet was then deleted and replaced, fixing the typos, hanging the phrasing, and now directing his words at "Alec"; the sentiment still stands.

In a strange turn of events, Alec decided to confront Trump head on, beginning a series of tweets at 7:38 AM. The actor took shots at the President, questioning the future of his presidency and poking fun at Trump's Presidential Library. Closing out the retorts, Baldwin wrote, "And Mr President... please ask your wife to stop calling me for SNL tickets. (Hey, Melania...we’ve got Charles Barkley this Saturday!)" Trump has yet to respond.
