Melania Trump is facing more backlash than usual this week after she wore a jacket that read, "I Really Don't Care. Do U?" while on her way to visit families detained by ICE. Although she was not wearing the jacket once she touched down in Texas, donning the piece prior to her flight caused left-winged media to attack the First Lady for her wardrobe. The timing of the jacket couldn't have been worse, and Melania should have been more aware of her surroundings and the situation at hand. Or maybe she was. Either way, actor Alec Baldwin implored Melania to denounce her husband, and join him on Saturday Night Live.
Baldwin, who plays Donald Trump on SNL, tweeted his suggestion to Melania on Saturday. "We know what you’re thinking. What you’re feeling. You are quaking w anticipation," he began. "Shuddering w a strange, newfound courage. Come. Come over to the light. We will welcome you as a hero in ways you never imagined possible. And then do SNL w me. Sincerely, Alec." Baldwin portrays Trump as an egotistical maniac on the show, a role he's taken up as a cameo since the 2016 presidential race began. It might not be in Melania's best interests to guest star alongside Baldwin, but you never know what can happen.
