DeMar DeRozan has been known to rock the most gorgeous Kobe A.D.s on the court, and it looks like that isn't going to change anytime soon. DeRozan even has his own collaboration sneakers with Nike and Kobe Bryant, which were inspired by the legendary Laker's "airball game." The horrible game occurred during Bryant's rookie season, and several overly confident shots turned into air balls that taught the young Kobe a lesson. DeRozan says that watching that moment taught him how to battle adversity, and still rise up after defeat. His fandom for the Black Mamba has always been strong, and his sneaker game has been even stronger.
DeRozan took to the court with his Drew League team today (Aug. 11), and the new San Antonio Spur debuted a pair of Kobe A.D.s that no one had seen before. Speculative observers began to suggest that the sneakers would drop on Kobe Day, which is on 8/24. The new Kobe A.D.'s colorway is made up of grey, navy, and yellow with pink laces, and a bronze crescent on the heel. "KOBE" is displayed in rainbow colors on the back of the right sneaker, while the left sneaker has a pink Kobo logo imprinted on the same spot.
