Former NBA star Lamar Odom has entertained the idea of joining Ice Cube's Big3 League, but according to TMZ Sports he is now looking to get back on the court overseas instead.
"I'm just working out trying to work my way back overseas," Odom tells TMZ. Although he'd like to make his return to hoops in Itlay, he doesn't have any preference where he signs just as long as he can prove the doubters wrong.
Odom, 38, has not played in the NBA since the 2012-13 season when he was a member of the Los Angeles Clippers. The two-time NBA champion, and Sixth Man of the Year Award winner in 2010-11, averaged 13.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game during the course of his career.
Back in February, TMZ reported that Odom has entertained the idea of joining the Big3 since August when he met with league execs, but was recently driven to play in honor of his good friend and former Big3 player Rasual Butler, who was killed in a single car accident in late January along with his wife, Leah LaBelle.
