Culture 2 is looking like it's going to be huge. Following up Migos' biggest success to date, the sequel apparently has a very exciting executive producer, and if anything's for sure, a red-hot lead single. "Motor Sport," shared on Friday, combines an involved beat from Murda Beatz with verses from all three Migos (nobody's being left off a la "Bad & Boujee" this time), as well as NYC queens Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. Things are looking up for Migos as we head into the final months of 2017.
As was the case last week, Chris Brown tops all other artists with three appearances in the top ten, and again, Young Thug and Future are tied behind him with two apiece. New songs barely missing out on spots this week include Jeezy and Tee Grizzley's "Cold Summer" (#11), Lupe Fiasco's "All While Doing a Rubik's Cube One-Handed" (#14), PnB Rock and Russ' "Issues" (#15), and 24hrs, PnB Rock & Madeintyo's "What You Like Remix" (#16).
10. Chris Brown - Pull Up
Chris Brown's massive album Heartbreak on a Full Moon will finally arrive tomorrow (Halloween), and last week, he dropped off what should be the final three pre-release tracks, which included "Pull Up." The vocoder-laced track debuts at #10.
9. Future & Young Thug - Mink Flow
Fewtch and Thugger notched a few Super Slimey cuts on last week's list just after its release, and the one song we decided highlight over the weekend, "Mink Flow," follows their lead onto the chart. The Mike Will Made It and Pluss-produced banger is up 29 spots from last week, going from #38 to #9.
8. The Game Feat. Young Thug, Jeremih & Sevyn Streeter - Oh I
Migos weren't the only ones to enlist an A-list team for their new single last week. The Game, who's been relatively silent in 2017, dropped off romantic-themed new track "Oh I" with Thugger, Jeremih, and Sevyn Streeter in tow, makng for a very melodic cut. The new song debuts at #8.
7. A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie - Day 1
A Boogie enjoyed his biggest week of publicity yet last week, but unfortunately, it wasn't about his music. Oddly enough, the timing of new track "Day 1" makes it seem like he was trying to capitalize upon his much-discussed beatdown of Lil B at Rolling Loud, but it seems to have worked. "Day 1" debuts at #7.
6. Tyga - Stay In School
Tyga's been productive as of late, quickly following up Bitch I'm The Shit 2 with a new tape called Bugatti Raww last week. "Stay In School," the closing track on the project, debuts at #6.
5. Chris Brown - Everybody Knows
Breezy's seemingly dropped a dozen or more tracks from his upcoming album before its release, but when Heartbreak on a Full Moon is planned at a 45-song affair, he could afford to drop 20 and still be fine come release day. His second charting solo track of the week is "Everybody Knows," which debuts at #5.
4. Snoop Dogg Feat. Chris Brown & OT Genasis - 3's Company
Snoop's followed up his last album, Neva Left, with an EP entitled Make America Crip Again. After sharing the politically-inclined title track, he was quick to remind us that he's not gravely serious 100% of the time, turning in a party cut backed by Chris Brown and OT Genasis. "#'s Company" debuts at #4.
3. Ty Dolla $ign Feat. Swae Lee & Future - Don't Judge Me
Ty Dolla dropped off his long-awaited third installment of the Beach House series last week, but the only song to make it into the top ten from it was the previously-released pre-album single "Don't Judge Me," which reunites the team behind Free TC's biggest hit, "Blasé." The Swae Lee and Future-assisted track is down one spot in its second week out, falling from #2 to #3.
2. Zo (Lonzo Ball) - Super Saiyan
Zo had to be waiting to drop this until he had his first successful NBA game. "Super Saiyan" arrived on the heels of a double-double (and near triple-double) against the Suns last Saturday. Despite only getting 50% approval from fans, the song is up 38 spots from last week, going from #40 to #2.
1. Migos Feat. Cardi B & Nicki Minaj - Motor Sport
This one was destined to be huge even if it was trash, and the fact that it's not trash is a bonus. "Motor Sport" capitalizes on Offset and Cardi B's wedding announcement, Cardi and Nicki's first collaboration, and Migos' overall popularity this year, which is a perfect storm of hype that it rides all the way to the top. Despite only having three days of eligibility, it decimates the competition and debuts at #1.
