Kelly has had enough.

Lifetime is gearing up to drop their new docuseries Survining R. Kelly this week, but the R&B legend isn't going to make it easy for them. Lifetime recently released a two-part trailer for the series, and R. Kelly's former wife, Andrea Kelly, as well as several other women are featured in the emotional advertisement. Set over dramatic ticking sound effects (no doubt drawing a symbolic connection to the #TimesUp movement) the alleged victims of Kelly's sexual abuse open up about their experiences. If the trailers are this hard to stomach, one can only imagine what the group of over 50 women will have to say on the series when it airs.

According to TMZKelly is far from pleased with the trailers and the docuseries in general. His lawyer, Brain Nix, sent out a legal letter that claims the information in the docuseries is untrue. Nix continues on to threaten legal action against Surviving R. Kelly and Lifetime if the show airs as scheduled this week. The 6-part documentary is being called a farce by Kelly, who claims he has 2 five minute long recordings that prove Lifetime knew that some of the women were lying. Kelly claims that "some of the girls are lying, but that the budget was too high to turn back now."
