Game of Thrones' final season is still a year away, but fans are clinging to any piece of news they can get about the show. A few spoilers for the series have already leaked online this year. First, a social media post by a cast member who revealed the details of a battle scene that took 55 nights to film was scrubbed from the internet. Then, the actor who plays Rhaegar Targaryen also had his social media post deleted after he revealed that flashbacks would play an important part in the upcoming season. Now, Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on the show, has posted what fans believe to be another spoiler.
Turned posted a picture of a new tattoo on artist Lauren Winzer's Instagram account last weekend that has fans going crazy. On the post, Winzer thanks Turner for allowing her to ink the piece, which is a picture of the House Stark wolf emblem. Underneath the wolf is the phrase, "The pack survives." Fans believe that Turner is hinting that the remaining members of her family will survive the onslaught that will dominate the last season of the show. Although that does sound like a great fantasy, since the Starks have lost enough family members already, it may be just that... a fantasy.
Fans may be jumping the gun, as the tattoo is a reference to Sansa's late father Ned Stark, who stated, "When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives." Only time will tell if the Starks will survive, but my guess is that at least one member of their clan will be killed off.
