This will be the biggest battle in all of "Game of Thrones."

Game of Thrones has featured some of the most epic on-screen battles to ever be broadcasted on television. Remember the "Battle of the Bastards," where Jon Snow finally takes on Ramsey Bolton. Or the "Battle at Hardhome," when the Night King shows how powerful he really is. Both of those memorable and monumental battles will be nothing compared to one battle that took 55 days to film for the new season.

According to a note shared on Instagram by assistant director Jonathan Quinlan, a 55-night shoot was recently wrapped up for season 8. The grueling shoot was shot consecutively for almost two months, and it is the longest shoot in Game Of Thrones history. In the post, which has since been deleted, "The Producer Types" thank the "Night Dragons" "for enduring 55 straight nights" of what must have been the most frustrating yet rewarding television shoot ever. We can only imagine what kind of monstrous battle awaits Jon Snow and Daenerys Stormborn of the House Targaryen, who must defeat the Night King and his army in order to save their world. Cersei Lannister and her backstabbing ways might also be tied into the battle, which means the undead won't be the only enemies in the battle.

Although fans of the series will have to wait until next year to watch the battle, all seven seasons of Game of Thrones can be streamed on HBO to help make the time go by.
