HBO's hit series Game of Thrones will be coming to an end next year. Widely heralded as the best series of all time around the world, Game of Thrones' showrunners have gone to excruciating lengths to keep spoilers from leaking out. Each season of GoT gets more intense, and fans who have no patience will spend hours breaking down theories and scouring the internet for spoilers. When Sophie Turner, the actress who plays Sansa Stark on the show, got a GoT inspired tattoo earlier this month, fans began to speculate that she gave away a major plot point for the upcoming season.
Turner's tattoo features the Stark family banner, which is a wolf. Underneath the wolf, "The pack survives," is written out clearly. Fans believed that Turner was hinting that her remaining family members on the show would survive the final season. Although that is a welcoming thought, especially since the Starks have suffered enough, it's highly unlikely that Sansa, Arya, Bran, and Jon all survive to the end of the series. Turner visited The Late Late Show With James Corden this week, and revealed the true meaning behind her new tattoo. “When I was getting it done people advised me not to because it looked like I was giving everything away," she explained. "But I wasn’t! It’s just a quote from last season, but everyone figures that the pack really does survive. But it’s just a moral I like to live by.”
