On last Sunday's Game Of Thrones episode "The Last Of The Starks," many found themselves utterly captivated by the presence of a rogue coffee cup of the Starbucks variety, left on a table during a crucial celebratory feast. Naturally, memes were made and laughs were had, prompting HBO to issue their own tongue in cheek response before erasing the gaffe from Thrones canon. Yet some were not satisfied, and embarked on a detective-esque journey of their own, determined to discover the culprit.
One such sleuth was none other than Dany herself, Emilia Clarke, who took to Instagram to put forth her own theories. Posting a picture of Jason Momoa's set visit, Clarke theorizes that his roguish presence caused a sort of temporary brain fog of sorts, and thus led to the placement of the offending cup. "The cup bearer does not drinketh the Starbucks tea," she writes in a cryptic fashion. "Oh and this ain’t a spoiler just a lost wanderer coming home for a mid filming cuppa." In other words, when in doubt, blame the ex.
The cup in hand certainly makes for a damning piece of evidence, though given Thrones' penchant for late-night shoots, who wouldn't be sipping that sweet sweet Joe damn near intravenously?
