It's been two months since Demi Lovato left the hospital and went straight to rehab amid her drug overdose. The 26-year-old was found in her Los Angeles home and hasn't been back since, with the house now on the market and Demi on a new path. Her younger sister Madison De La Garza recently chopped it up with Millennial Hollywood podcast and gave listeners an update on Demi's health.
"Demi's doing really well," Madison said, via Entertainment Tonight. "She's working really hard on her sobriety and we're all so incredibly proud of her. It's been crazy for our family. It's been a lot, but we've been through a lot together."
She added: "Every time we go through something, we always come out the other side 100 times stronger than before. So, we've just been so thankful for everything, for the little things."
A while back Demi's mother described the first time she saw her daughter in the hospital. "She just didn't look good at all. She was in bad shape. But I said to her,' Demi, I'm here. I love you.' And at that point, she said, 'I love you too,'" she said. Demi's clearly making strides to a better self.
