"Take this time to evaluate and appreciate everything you've been blessed with."

Houston Texans star rookie QB Deshaun Watson tore his ACL at practice yesterday and will miss the rest of the season. Several NFL players sent their well wishes to Watson after news of the injury broke yesterday afternoon, including New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr, who sent the 22-year old QB a lengthy, motivational text message.

In the message, obtained by ESPN's Josina Anderson, Beckham writes,

"Lil bruh I know at this time things may be scary. Your first year in the league; running for MVP; trying to win a championship, trying to get the spot you deserve, to defy the odds, to do the things they said you can't, and it all gets taken away,"

"Look back in life to when you faced adversity and thought you would not overcome it, and then you did," Beckham wrote. "As life went on, more and more obstacles came your way that you had to again overcome time and time again, but you got through it somehow. Now life throws you bigger problems and again you're faced with a test."

"Everything is a blessing in disguise," Beckham wrote. "Truly believe that this all happens for a reason. Take this time to evaluate and appreciate everything you've been blessed with. Life's still good, kid. WE LIVINN!! And we will be back better than ever. I'll see you this off-season lil b."

Beckham can certainly relate to what Watson is going through right now. The 24-year old Pro Bowler suffered a brutal, season-ending ankle injury during the Giants' Week 5 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers.

During seven games this season, Watson threw for for 1,699 yards and an NFL-leading 19 touchdowns. Not to mention, he has also rushed for 269 yards and two touchdowns. The 12th overall pick in the draft started every game for the 3-4 Texans this season and nearly led the team to upset victories against the Patriots and Seahawks on the road.

With Watson's season over, the Houston Texans will now turn to Tom Savage, who will start this Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
