Were you fooled?

Lil Nas X is known for his elite trolling on social media. He has done it on various occasions and his recent run of jokes focuses on Christianity. The 24-year-old phenom from Georgia began his journey to follow this religion over a year ago. Over the past several days, Nas X has shown his commitment to this new path. He is doing so by dropping a gospel-inspired single. "J CHRIST" this Friday, January 12.

Oh, but he is not stopping there. The hitmaker recently shared that he will be attending college to deepen his knowledge of the Bible and the Christian way. On his social media accounts, Lil Nas shared a screenshot of an acceptance letter from Liberty University. It is located in Lynchburg, Virginia and he was aboslutely thrilled about it. Nas X said, "I know twitter hates me right now but i want yall to know im literally about to go to college for biblical studies in the fall. Not everything is a troll! Anyways IM A STUDENT AGAIN! LETS GOOO."

Lil Nas X Is A Pro Troller

However, people did some digging and it turns out he fooled people once again. The signature at the bottom of the letter was forged. According to HipHopDX, former president of Liberty, Jerry Falwell Jr. (2007-2020), shut down the truthfulness of it. "This is the real Jerry Falwell... that is my signature. I know this is a joke but I wouldn’t have hesitated to sign that letter for you to enroll." Another reason why this was a joke is because the college is known to be anti-LGBTQIA+. Additionally, the tweet was flagged for being an "altered image." Rats, Lil Nas X was caught again.

What are your initial thoughts on Lil Nas X saying he got into Liberty University for Biblical studies? Did you fall for the ruse? Are his actions a little out of pocket, why or why not? How do you feel about his constant trolling? Is it good or bad for his public image? Are you still excited about his upcoming single "J CHRIST?"
