G Herbo has been dropping album-quality mixtapes on an annual basis for a few years now, but we still don't have his official "debut album." The forthcoming project, Humble Beast, is already a familiar title among Herb fans, but it's still without a release date. In a new interview with FakeShoreDrive's Andrew Barber, the Chicago rapper gave a welcome update on the LP.
"My debut album is dropping this summer, Humble Beast," Herbo confirmed. However, it'll come after his collaborative project with Lil Bibby, which he says is scheduled for a mid-April release. "Me and Bibby are working on our joint album. We're going to be touring together. We've got over 30 songs together up to date that nobody's heard."
Though he has a lot of new music in the pipeline, Herbo has not been slacking in terms of releasing material. His Strictly 4 My Fanz mixtape was released last November, and he shared his Welcome To Fazoland 1.5 EP earlier this month -- not to mention a handful of loose tracks.
