It’s been long time in the making, but after months and even years of anticipation, G Herbo’s highly anticipated debut album, Humble Beast, has finally arrived.
Laced with 14 tracks in total, the follow up to this year's Welcome To Fazoland 1.5 tape features guest appearances from Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, Jeremih, Lil Bibby & Bump J. Meanwhile production is handled by the likes of No ID, London On Da Track, Da Internz, Southside, Young Chop, C-Sick, and DJ Ron, among others.
Touching on the album, Herbo had the following message to say about it in a recent interview with us at HNHH…“It reflects on everything that I’ve been through in my life, you know what I’m saying? It shows who I am today. It tells the story of me being a sixteen, seventeen year old young man from Chicago, growing up in a poverty stricken neighborhood to me doing everything that I’m doing now.”
“I feel like the fans can expect, me. What’s true to me, Lil Herb/G Herbo. Everything I’ve ever been through that got me to this point in my life. Everything that I plan on doing 5 to 10 years from now. This is my story. I feel like ‘Humble Beast’ is the introduction to who I am. To who Lil Herb/G Herbo is to everybody. To the fans and to people who have never heard my music before. That’s what it is. An introduction to me.”
Available on iTunes, fans can stream the debut effort from Herbo in its entirety via Apple Music. Hit play and let us know what record you're feeling the most?
