Rich The Kid's "New Freezer" featuring Kendrick Lamar is arguably one of his biggest songs to date. The single took over the fall and shortly after its release, Rich The Kid revealed plans to shoot a video for the single. About a month after it's release, we finally receive the vibrant video for it.
Rich The Kid's been teasing the video for "New Freezer" for a few weeks now. Just before the video, he released a very short trailer that featured Kendrick Lamar and Rich The Kid standing in front of a store front with neon lights surrounded and strippers in the video. The two of them take a retro style with their clothing choices and blend it with more futuristic choices. The video features both Rich The Kid and Kendrick riding in a wild triangular car that looks like it belongs in the year 2035. The video was shot by Jack Begert who brings his own unique videography style to the table. He's previously done work for ScHoolboy Q on a couple of his singles off of Blank Face LP, and even with those, he brought a new form of life to those songs.
The video for "New Freezer" is definitely what Rich The Kid needs to begin the roll out for his forthcoming album. He's yet to reveal the title of even when it should be arriving but it seems like he and his team are working to get it out soon. Along with Kendrick, Rich got some other notable people on it as well. He's already confirmed guest features from Wayne and Tory Lanez as well as Playboi Carti. With his newly penned deal with Interscope Records, Rich The Kid is setting himself up for a huge 2018.
