BROCKHAMPTON, the Kevin Abstract-led collective from Texas, returns to the site today with a new video off their Saturation album which dropped back in June. After hitting us with “Face” earlier this Summer, the “All-American Boy Band” decide to come through today and share another video for their Jabari Manwa-produced track “Boys.”
The video, which runs just over six minutes and looks to be inspired by a horror clip, was shot using an old-school camera and starts out with a slightly disturbing disclaimer about group member Ameer Van, who apparently went missing and was found “legless” in the woods of Oregon. “After hours of searching, we brought him back to this haunted venue in hopes of performing a séance to bring his leg back,” reads the notice. The group tried to perform a impromptu “séance” to see if Ameer could get his legs back, and this is the footage that was found from the night.
It’s pretty much just footage of Kevin Abstract, Ameer, Merlyn Wood, Matt Champion and Dom McLennon in a old haunted concert venue rapping their respective verses to say the least, but it’s still pretty dope nonetheless. It follows up their latest video for “Gummy,” which dropped back in August. Check it out (above) and let us know what you think.
If you’ve been sleeping on the All-American Boy Band, be sure to revisit both Saturation & Saturation II projects to catch up. And if that’s not all, look for the third and final installment of Saturation to be coming later this year as well led by the single “Follow,” which just saw a nice co-sign from Tyler The Creator back in August. So stay tuned, more is on the way from the Kevin Abstract-led group in the coming weeks.
