Jamie Foxx is still hospitalized more than three weeks after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency. Sources for TMZ close to the actor have reiterated, "Pray for Jamie," when asked about his condition. Since Foxx went to the hospital, his family has kept tight-lipped about his health problems.
Foxx's daughter, Corinne, first announced her father suffered a "medical complication" in a statement on Instagram from April 12th. “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday,” she wrote at the time. “Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”

On April 21, a source for PEOPLE told the outlet that the 55-year-old is “OK” but “still in the hospital.” Martin Lawrence also told Extra at the time that he's heard positive updates. “Well, I hear he’s doing better,” he told the outlet at his Hollywood Walk of Fame star's unveiling ceremony. “My prayers go out for him every night and just wishing the best for him, one of the best that we got in Hollywood. Not only one of the best entertainers, but a good person.”
Jamie Foxx’s health scare came while filming a Netflix movie by Seth Gordon titled Back in Action in Atlanta with co-stars Cameron Diaz, Glenn Close, and Kyle Chandler. He also has been hosting the lyric game show, Beat Shazam, for FOX. That series begins filming on Wednesday and will be moving on with a new host in Foxx's place. Corinne also works on the show as a DJ and will be stepping away from it as well. She's reportedly been staying at her father's side in the hospital.
