The "Wild 'N Out" host said that he's actually going to pay the actor a favor very soon, although he didn't reveal what it was.

The sudden hospitalization of Jamie Foxx while filming his Back In Action Netflix action-comedy flick shocked the pop culture world. Since news of his "medical complications" broke, fans and celebrities alike poured out prayers and words of sympathy and support for the Collateral actor. Most recently, Nick Cannon was the latest media figure to provide fans with an update on Foxx's stable status. Moreover, he spoke to Entertainment Tonight briefly, and confirmed news of the star's steadily improving health. Also, he hinted at a special surprise he has planned for Foxx but didn't specify what it was.

"Man, I’m praying" Nick Cannon told ET. "You see, I posted on Instagram. I literally have been saying prayers out loud. Words of affirmation for my big brother, I know he’s doing so much better. I’m actually about to do something special for him, and doing him a favor. I can’t really say what it is, but it’ll be out there soon. I was reluctant to go all the way there, and even talk about it, but he gave me the blessing, so it’s a beautiful thing. He’s awake. They say he’s alert, so, we love it."

But more specifically, he digs for the deeper side of hip-hop conversations, whether that’s the “death” of the genre in 2023, the lyrical and parasocial intricacies of the Kendrick Lamar and Drake battle, or the many moving parts of the Young Thug and YSL RICO case. Beyond engaging and breaking news coverage, Gabriel makes the most out of his concert obsessions, reviewing and recapping festivals like Rolling Loud Miami and Camp Flog Gnaw. He’s also developed a strong editorial voice through album reviews, think-pieces, and interviews with some of the genre’s brightest upstarts and most enduring obscured gems like Homeboy Sandman, Bktherula, Bas, and Devin Malik.
