However, Foxx's family has reported that the star is currently recovering from the situation.
Foxx's daughter Corinne shared the update on her father through her Instagram page. She posted, "We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers," the statement continued." People Magazine reports that Foxx's new project is a Netflix film titled "Back In Action" The film features a heavyweight cast that includes Cameron Diaz, Glenn Close, and Kyle Chandler. According to the report, filming was shut down upon the news of Foxx's health. However, it does seem Foxx could be back sooner rather than later.
