Klay Thompson notched a career high 60 points last night against the Indiana Pacers and he only needed 29 minutes to do so. Unfortunately, because the Warriors were killing the Pacers Steve Kerr sat Klay for the entire fourth quarter so he never got a chance to challenge Kobe Bryant's 81 points.
"It's just unfortunate two times I got my career high I didn't get to play the fourth quarter," Thompson said.
In his 29 minutes, Thompson was an incredibly efficient 21-33 from the floor, including 8-14 from behind the arc. Not even an ice bath from Steph Curry after the game could cool down Klay, who joined the ranks of Kobe, LeBron, Melo, Arenas, Iverson, T-Mac and Shaq as the only players who have dropped 60 since 2000.
Everyone from his teammates and opponents to the casual NBA fan had something to say about his hot streak last night. Check out some of the reactions below.
