The defending champion Golden State Warriors made light work of the New York Knicks on Tuesday night at Oracle Arena, just as everyone would have predicted.

The Warriors' 122-95 victory was highlighted by an epic scoring performance from All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson, who posted a game-high 43 points on 18-of-29 shooting, including seven threes. To put that in perspective, all of the Knicks starters combined for 43 points.

Not only that, Thompson needed just FOUR (4) dribbles the entire night.

This isn't the first time that Thompson's "catch and shoot" expertise was on full display. During his epic 60-point game against the Indiana Pacers in December of 2016, Thompson dribbled just 11 times in his 29 minutes of action. Furthermore, he only held the ball in his hands for a total of 90 seconds in that game.

With last night's blowout victory in the books, the Warriors have improved to 27-14 on the season which is just one-game back of the Denver Nuggets for first place in the Western Conference. Up next is another home game against the lowly Chicago Bulls on Friday night.

The Knicks, meanwhile, are currently sitting at 10-31 as they remain amongst the bottom three teams in the NBA.
