Donald Glover's "Atlanta" Gets A Premiere Date

"Atlanta" will premiere on FX before the end of summer.

Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino has spent a good portion of the last two years writing, developing, and filming his FX television show "Atlanta." Guess what. The show now has a release date. According to Deadline, the first episode of "Atlanta" is set to premiere on Tuesday, September 6th.

Here's how FX describes the show: "'Atlanta' revolves around two cousins on their way up through the Atlanta rap scene whose opposing views on art versus commerce, success and race will make their quest anything but easy." In addition to Glover, the show stars Brian Tyree Henry, Lakeith Lee Stanfield, and Zazie Beetz.
