Back in February, we reported on the somewhat confounding news that Drake had signed to Skepta's BBK (Boy Better Know) imprint. The news was announced by Drake himself, via an Instagram post, where he referred to himself as the first Canadian to sign to BBK. The details surrounding his deal were unclear, and how/if it would effect his current situation with Young Money. Some speculated that he didn't actually sign to BBK.
Now, in a new interview with TimeOut London, Skepta has confirmed that Drake signing to BBK is indeed real, although all the details have yet to be sorted. The two rappers both have recent album releases behind them now, so perhaps they'll get to working out the details. Skepta tells TimeOut, "We’re putting together an official worldwide BBK label. But we haven’t talked about how it’ll work yet. It’ll be separate to his existing contracts. Trust me, I am not gonna sue Lil Wayne."
