Despite having his own deal with Young Money, and OVO Sound's contract under Warner Brothers, Skepta insists that Drake has plans to sign with his independent label, BBK, though the details have not been worked out just yet.
Drake certainly seems to be on board with the BBK movement, debuting a tattoo of the label's logo on his shoulder last year, and Skepta has now returned the favor, finding some real estate on his body to place a tatt of the OVO owl, which he debuted on Instagram yesterday. He captioned the pic, "From Toronto with solid bullet proof love," revealing that he actually had the piece done at FYI INk, a parlor on Queen street in Toronto. Drake later posted an image of Skepta in the shop on his own 'Gram.
The two rappers have previously collaborated on "Ojulegba," and Drake's vocals were sampled on Skepta's hit, "Shutdown," which appeared on his album Konnichiwa, released earlier this year.
Now that they've been branded with one another's logos, it seems that it's only a matter of time before the two collaborate again, especially if that BBK agreement does come to fruition.
