Rich Homie Quan was very open about wanting to lock down a Drake feature for his debut album (in fact, he was adamant it would happen), and while speaking to MTV News at the BET Hip-Hop Awards this past weekend, the rapper made it clear he achieved his goal and then some.
While on the BET Hip-Hop Awards red green carpet, the Atlanta native revealed how he has now recorded three to four records with the Toronto rapper. "We’ve been working a lot — we’ve probably got like three or four tracks together, so he definitely will be on my album," Rich Homie said. "At first it was through e-mail, and after that I went on tour with Wiz Khalifa, the Under the Influence Tour. We went to Toronto, he hit me up, I pulled up on him at his house and we dropped some music."
While it's unlikely we will see all the collaborations on Rich Homie's album, the rapper said "[Drake's] gonna use a couple, too."
The "Type of Way" rapper says his debut album is now 40 percent done, and he plans to get it out at the top of 2015.
