Rich Homie Quan recently released a remix to his huge single "Type Of Way." The banger, responsible for the Atlanta native's sudden rise to fame, was a summer hit which even led to a shout-out from Drake and a reported deal with Def Jam.
Whether or not the rapper has a major label deal under his belt, he's still looking to capitalize off his new-found fame with the release of an album, as well as a new mixtape. While on the red carpet at the BET Awards this weekend, the rapper revealed plans for both projects this year.
Rich Homie said to HipHopSince1987, "I will drop a new mixtape for the streets before the year is out. I'm about 30 percent in with the album and I've still got another mixtape coming for the streets."
The ATLien also spoke on putting together the "Type Of Way" remix with Meek Mill and Jeezy. "I wanted Meek to get on it," Rich Homie said, "Meek's not a new artist but he has that young energy so I had to put him on and he showed me a lot of support."
