Ariana Grande must feel like she's on top of the world. The 25-year-old singer recently tied with The Beatles by having the No. 1, 2, and 3 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart and now she's pulled in yet another great accomplishment since breaking one of Spotify's records. Ariana has now become the first woman to have three of her albums surpass two billion streams.
Her latest album, Thank U, Next with singles such as "7 Rings" is what pulled in the milestone along with streams from Sweetener and her Dangerous Woman tape. The single, "Thank U, Next" alone pulled in 100 million streams in just 11 days.
"I wrote it with my friends while we were just tipsy in the studio and I was going through a pretty rough period and writing this album with them, with so many people I love, has really been a huge helping factor in my healing process and just feeling better,” Ariana said of her latest tape, that surely sealed her record-breaking accomplishment. “It’s been a really beautiful experience."
Ariana is currently on a world tour and got quite emotional during her performance in Washington - watch here.
