Super Bowl Sunday. Patriots vs Rams. Belichick vs. McVay. Gamblers vs. their bookies.
According to a report by the American Gaming Association, 22.7 million Americans expect to bet on the Patriots vs Rams game with an estimated $6 billion at stake. This includes bets placed through official sportsbooks, local bookies, offshore bookies and even those office pools that everyone and their mom partakes in.
It's the biggest gambling day of the year and there are plenty of different items to bet on outside of whether or not the Patriots and Rams will combine for more than 57 points. In fact, you could make yourself a pretty penny (or dig yourself a deep hole) well before the game even begins.
