Ingram was on fire last night.

This past week it became apparent that New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis wants out and that his preferred destination is the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers have a ton of young talent in Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, and Brandon Ingram, which has led many to speculate that those three could be included in a package to bring Davis over the L.A. Despite those rumors, they didn't seem to effect Ingram very much as he dropped a career-high 36 points against the Philadelphia 76ers last night in 121-105 loss.

"That's just part of the business," Ingram told ESPN when asked about the trade rumors. "I realized that. There's different odds [of where Davis could end up] looking at everything. I can only control what I can control and just be the best that I can be every single day that I'm out on the floor."

Ingram added five assists and five rebounds and was all over the court but it just wasn't enough to pull off the win.

The Lakers have been struggling as of late as they have been without LeBron James, who is still nursing a groin injury that has kept him out of the lineup since Christmas Day.

Now the team sits at a record of 26-25 and sit in ninth in the Western Conference, one spot out of a playoff berth.
