Halsey is readying her return to Saturday Night Live this weekend since she's announced that she will be hosting and performing for the February 9th episode. "ITS SATURDAY FUCKING NIGHT BABY," she captioned the announcement on Instagram.
The "Without Me" singer made her SNL debut last season when she performed her Hopeless Fountain Kingdom single "Bad At Love" and she returned earlier this season as a musical guest once again. Halsey's announcement to join the show in an official manner is no surprise since her first solo records Badlands and its 2017 follow-up Hopeless Fountain Kingdom became platinum with five gold singles.
“No accolade, award or nomination changes my fans’ relationship with my music, because I think the young people who listen to it are intelligent enough to think for themselves,” Halsey told NME. “That’s why I stopped caring about all of that stuff. I stopped going to awards shows: I didn’t go to the Grammys, I didn’t go the VMA."
