It was only a matter of time until Agent Zero signed up for the Big3.

Former NBA star Gilbert Arenas aka Agent Zero is taking his talents to the Big3 League.

Arenas, 37, announced his decision today on the league's "No Chill" podcast with league founder, Ice Cube.

"I'm gonna go ahead and join," Arenas told Ice Cube. "Like, I'm really gonna be training, that's the sad part. I'm training like I'm about to sign a $100 million contract."

“It’s one of those things where I need to train like I’m playing in the NBA again ’cause I’m not gonna let them get the best of me. So I got four and a half months”

The 11-year NBA veteran last played in the NBA during the 2011-12 season as a member of the Memphis Grizzlies. He was a three-time All Star with the Washington Wizards from 2004-2007, and boasts career averages of 20.7 points, 5.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game.

The Big3 League will expand from eight to 12 teams in the upcoming third season. The draft will reportedly take place in April, and there will be a number of notable, former NBA players available including Arenas, Lamar Odom, Steve Blake, Kendrick Perkins, Daniel "Booby" Gibson, Eddy Curry and Carlos Arroyo.
