Until this point, we've witnessed Zac Efron in high school movies, frat films and other comedies that don't really showcase his full potential as an actor. Now, he's taking more serious roles to truly show off his chops and his transformation is made clear with Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile. Ted Bundy has been a popular character for television and movie directors this year with Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes making waves on Netflix. The streaming service will soon be introducing a new biopic to their programming with Zac Efron's Extremely Wicked. People are starting to get pretty excited for its arrival after the trailer was finally unveiled today.
Many of us were curious to see how Zac Efron would adapt to playing a serial killer. His appearance hasn't been altered much at all but his behavior is definitely pretty accurate. The actor is as creepy as we've ever seen him, plotting the murders of several girls and acting charming in court, winning over the hearts of women around the world.
The upcoming biopic is directed by John Berlinger and is told in the perspective of Bundy's girlfriend, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter. The trailer runs through scenes of Bundy and Elizabeth, his partner, as she visits him in prison. The thriller will be available to stream on Netflix on May 3.
