Marvel's first Netflix series is set to return, and it looks like things are about to get hectic for Daredevil. The Man Without Fear seemingly passed away at the conclusion of the crossover series The Defenders, but like most comic book characters, he's back from the "grave." Several teasers for the upcoming third season of Daredevil have touched down over the last week, and Netflix has opted to keep the promo coming at a steady pace. A new teaser, that appears to feature no footage from the actual season, has been released featuring our hero and his arch enemy.
It looks like The Kingpin has been released from prison, and now he and Daredevil are set on a collision path. Netflix has already admitted that the "Born Again" storyline will come into play here, which is a brooding tale of The Kingpin discovering Daredevil's true identity. In the latest teaser, The Kingpin carefully dresses himself in a suave white suit, while on the opposite side of the spectrum, Matt Murdock burns his lawyer clothes and dons his vigilante costume. The plot for season three goes as follows:
"Missing for months, Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) reemerges a broken man, putting into question his future as both vigilante Daredevil and lawyer Matthew Murdock. But when his archenemy Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) is released from prison, Matt must choose between hiding from the world or embracing his destiny as a hero."
Daredevil season three touches down on October 19.
