Marvel brought its Cinematic Universe to Netflix in 2015 with Daredevil. The Man Without Fear acted something like Iron Man did for the Marvel movies. He established the beginning of a new interconnected team that would become New York's defense against threats. Whereas Tony Stark and the Avengers are busy handling intergalactic threats, Daredevil and the Defenders are handling street level enemies. Crime bosses and secret cults, drug dealers and murderers are the enemies of Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist. The last time the team was all together, they witnessed the "death" of Matt Murdock.
Charlie Cox has done an amazing job playing Daredevil, and this upcoming season will place him up against The Kingpin. Marvel has confirmed that this season will be based on the popular "Born Again" storyline from the comics, where Kingpin learns Daredevil's identity and makes his life a living hell. One of The Kingpin's main hitmen in the comics is Bullseye. Personal trainer Naqam Washington posted a picture alongside Cox and Wilson Bethel on Instagram, and he seemingly confirms that the latter will be playing Bullseye in season three. "The boys training hard in the lab! Season 3 of Daredevil going to be crazy! #Daredevil and #Bullseye," he wrote as the caption. Now let's hope he's better than Colin Farrell.
