The Philadelphia 76ers improved to 27-14 on Tuesday night with a dominant 132-115 victory against the struggling Washington Wizards.
In fact, All-Star center Joel Embiid was so relaxed during the game that he sat with a young fan in the crowd while his teammates took care of business on the court.
Embiid finished with 20 points, 10 rebounds and four assists in just 24 minutes of action last night, while rookie Landry Shamet went off for a game-high (and career-high) 29 points, including a career-best eight three-pointers.
In 39 games this season, Embiid is averaging career-highs in points, rebounds and assists with 26.7, 13.4 and 3.5, respectively. He is also contributing 1.8 blocks per game.

After the first return of All-Star fan voting, the Sixers' big man had the fourth most votes in the Eastern Conference, trailing only Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving and Giannis Antetokounmpo. NBA All-Star Voting will run until January 21, but the second of three fan voting updates will be shared on Thursday night.
The Sixers and Wizards (16-25) will play the second game of their home-and-home tonight as they do battle at Capital One Arena in D.C.
