Emilia Clarke is one of the most gorgeous and talented women in Hollywood. She plays Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones, the most popular show in the world. In the HBO series, Clarke is forced to speak, and act like she understands, several different languages. Apparently, she left that skill on the Game of Thrones set, because she is hilariously awful at impersonating Chewbacca's signature growl.
Clarke visited The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon to promote her role in the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story film. She answered several questions about the film, and even dropped off a short clip for fans to watch. At one point during the interview, Fallon asked her to imitate Chewie, and gave her two lines to improvise. "Ready, jump to hyperspace," and "Watch out, Star Destroyer ahead," were the two English phrases she was asked to translate into Chewies native Wookie tongue. The best thing is, even her epic fail is entertaining to watch.
Clarke is also asked about Game of Thrones' final season, which airs next year. "I know everything. Well, kind of...sort of. I do. I know plenty. I know enough. I can't say anything," she spits out flustered. She also admits that she believes the showrunners are making the actors film scenes that won't even take place, to throw everybody off. "I think that they are doing loads of stuff and they're not even telling us because they don't trust us and rightly so." The actor who plays Rhaegar Targaryen already leaked one minor spoiler, and another small spoiler found its way online in the past months as well. Solo: A Star Wars Story hits theaters on May 25, and also stars Donald Glover, Alden Ehrenreich, and Woody Harrelson.
