During the NBA All-Star Weekend back in February, New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. showed off a never before seen Nike Air Force 1 Low featuring a blend of premium materials in the always popular all-red colorway.
While some had hoped that the kicks might someday release in similar fashion to Beckham Jr.'s LSU-inspired Special Field Air Force 1, that doesn't appear to be the case. OBJ's exclusive Air Force 1 Low resurfaced today via KITH founder Ronnie Fieg, who shared that the kicks are limited to just 100 pairs which will be distributed to friends & family.
The 25-year old Pro Bowler signed the richest NFL sneaker deal with Nike last May, worth $5 million per year for five years, about two times more than any previous deal Nike had with a football player. The deal made Beckham Jr. a larger brand spokesman and also includes campaigns outside of football, which means we could see more sneaker collabs on the way - just not these 1-of-100 Air Force 1 Lows.
