Bruno Mars may be on the road for his 24K Magic World Tour but it doesn't mean he can't land an honorary role for an upcoming Netflix film. According to The Mirror, Bruno has been tapped to play Prince in a movie the streaming service is helming about his life.
“Bruno says it will probably be the most nerve-racking move of his career if it happens,” a Netflix source told the publication. “Prince was one of his idols so to be asked to take on a hefty role like that especially as a debut acting move is full-on. The offer has come out of the blue. Bruno used to love acting when he was younger but it’s not an avenue he’s explored.”
Representatives from Bruno's team and Prince's estate have yet to respond to the source.
Bruno's tour was supposed to be accompanied by Cardi B, but due to her pregnancy, the rapper had to drop out where Ciara was swapped in. "Most important thing is you and your family's health. I know the fans will understand. You are absolutely doing the right thing," Bruno shared to Cardi. "I also know we'll share the stage with the time is right. We love you Cardi and we will play Bodak Yellow every night in your honor.
