Michigan is one win away from its eighth trip to the Final Four.

The Michigan Wolverines steamrolled the Texas A&M Aggies in last night's Sweet 16 matchup, advancing to the Elite 8 for the third time in the last six seasons.

Just days after surviving Houston, thanks to a buzzer-beating 3-pointer from Jordan Poole, Michigan went out and dominated from start to finish. By halftime the Wolverines had built up a 24-point lead and the second half featured much of the same as Michigan cruised to a 99-72 victory while shooting an incredible 62% from the field. Senior guard Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman led the way with 24 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds, while Juniors Moritz Wagner and Charles Matthews chipped in 21 and 18 points, respectively.

After routing A&M, the Michigan athletics twitter account trolled ESPN for ranking them 15th out of the remaining Sweet 16 teams.

With the win, Michigan will now take on the #9 Florida State Seminoles, who picked up a 15-point victory against Gonzaga last night. The two teams are set to do battle tomorrow, March 24, at 8:49pm ET, with the winner representing the West Region in the Final Four.
