When Meek Mill was released from prison earlier in the year, he had revealed that he had little motivation to continue writing. In fact, Meek said that he barely wrote any lyrics while in jail. After dropping his new single "Stay Woke" with Miguel, it looks like Meek could be re-entering the conversation for the long run. Teasing a few tracks on his socials today, the Philly-bred rapper looks poised to make a splash this summer, returning to the fray with a possible new EP. Aside from "Stay Woke" and the two previewed songs today, another solo Meek track is expected to be on Legends of the Summer, if it is indeed a new project.
The first song he shared is a collaboration with Swizz Beatz, rumored to be titled "Millidelphia." The next is a track assisted by PnB Rock and Jeremih that is expected to be called "Dangerous." In response to the final snippet, one fan posted that they actually have early access to the project, listing the songs that will be released. Regardless of whether or not Meek comes through with just a few singles in a few weeks or if he surprises us with a full-blown album at midnight, Meek Milly definitely has something cooking up that he's keeping secret.
As it stands, the tracklist that's been floating around is below. Are you stoked for new Meek?
Rumored Legends of the Summer Tracklist:
1. Millidelphia (feat. Swizz Beatz)
2. Dangerous (feat. Jeremih & PnB Rock)
