It seems that there isn't a day that goes by without some kind of drama involving Tekashi 6ix9ine, the inflammatory New York rapper who seemingly has as many beefs as he has hit songs. Well, there's one other name you can add to the list of rappers who have a problem with 6ix9ine: Boosie Badazz.

Last weekend, 6ix9ine made a post on Instagram claiming that he was considering retiring from the rap game sometime this year. The now-deleted post read, "Ima quit rapping this year. I accomplished everything I dreamed of in 5 months.” 6ix9ine does have his accomplishments, including a platinum single in "GUMMO" and a mixtape that hit #4 on the Billboard 200 album chart. He also has his share of controversies, including the legitimacy of his connection with the Bloods, as well as his guilty plea for sexual misconduct involving a minor, which he could still potentially face a three-year prison sentence for. This has irked a lot of other rappers, and has turned 6ix9ine into one of the most polarizing figures in the music industry today.

Upon hearing the news that 6ix9ine was considering quitting music, Baton Rouge legend Boosie Badazz voiced his displeasure, and his disinterest, with 6ix9ine, tweeting simply: "who cares."

This, predictably, upset the 6ix9ine Defence Force, who took to Boosie's mentions to protect their favorite rapper, leading to some heated arguments. Is Boosie right that we should all forget about 6ix9ine, or is this another case of an older rapper not understanding the current generation? Let us know.
