Eminem quotes the man himself to celebrate Craig Mack's life after his passing.

"Flava In Ya Ear" was one of the biggest songs of 1994 and, under unfortunate circumstances, its creator Craig Mack passed away today after heart failure. Many rappers have been sending tribute messages on social media to thank the Bad Boy rapper for his contributions to the community and the latest emcee to come through with a tribute is Eminem. Em has had a busy week, celebrating an impressive milestone in becoming the first rapper to ever move over 100 million song units. Eminem also performed at the iHeartRadio Music Awards this past weekend, singing "Nowhere Fast" with Kehlani to wage war against the NRA and honor the victims and survivors of the Parkland, Florida shooting.

Slim Shady shared a tribute message yesterday to Alex Moscou, one of the survivors of the Parkland tragedy and now he takes the time to mourn the loss of a groundbreaking rapper. The Detroit legend shared a photo of the cover art to "Flava In Ya Ear," Mack's most popular song, with the caption reading, "'Now, hold up, let’s make this official / Everybody let’s agree that MC’s need a tissue' … indeed a sad day for losing such a groundbreaking MC #RIPCRAIGMACK."

Craig Mack was the first to release an album under Diddy’s Bad Boy Records, setting a strong standard for rappers to follow. RIP Craig Mack.
