Hip-Hop remembers and respects Craig Mack.

Another one gone too soon. Last night, former Bad Boy rapper Craig Mack passed away at the age of forty-six. According to reports, Mack died from heart failure at a hospital in South Carolina. Fans might recall Mack's early nineties Bad Boy endeavors, including the label's first full length album Project Funk da World, which included Mack's hit single "Flava In Ya Ear."

It didn't take long for the hip-hop community to extend their love to Craig Mack and his legacy. Mack will clearly be remembered by those he influenced, and by the look of it, that group is extensive. While the new generation may be unfamiliar with Mack's music, it would appear that the game's veteran presence is holding it down for the lost one.

Check out some of the reactions from the hip-hop community below, and give "Flava In Ya Ear" a spin in Mack's honor. Rest in peace.
