Young Dolph is officially "Major." The independent artist claimed in a now-deleted Instagram video that he was turning down a $22 million dollar deal, saying "fuck the 22 million" and, a day later, he revealed that he had signed a partnership with Empire. He describes it as follows: "The deals I was being offered, I can’t lie, they were good. Not only is this still a multi-million dollar deal, but I can keep my masters and get a bigger percentage. This is a big deal because it’s linking the biggest independent artist and label with the biggest distribution company."
To coincide with his signing to a major label, Dolph released a new song, Major, and now a new video to accompany the song. In the video we get a more extended look at the one thing that's been consistent in the confusing back-and-forth news of the past couple days: his collection of camo cars.
Stay tuned for his upcoming album, Role Model, set to release on September 21st.
