This has been a stressful few months for Wendy Williams as the talk show host. She admitted that she's been in a sober living home in order to deal with her addiction temptations and then photos surfaced of her husband, Kevin Hunter, vacationing with his alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson. There were rumors that Hudson was pregnant with Hunter's baby, and news recently broke that Hunter may have given birth in Philadelphia on Monday.
Sources have said that Williams was rushed to the hospital following a relapse and that she's struggling to hold it together. The host also was snapped by the paparazzi sans wedding ring, leaving many to speculate about the disbanding of her marriage. If there is this much trouble in marital paradise, things don't look as if they're going to get any better, because according to TMZ, Hunter is the executive producer of The Wendy Williams Show and is on set with her daily.
As Williams has continued to show up to work to give the world what they want, reports state that Hunter has been there at every turn. Sources on set told TMZ that the couple is cordial and there doesn't look to be tension between the two. Hunter recently gave a statement to ET about his wife's sobriety, saying they are handling it as a family.
"Wendy is doing well. We’re doing well as a family. We are moving forward with working on her sobriety and doing the work to help others, not just ourselves,” he said. "It is a family process. Anybody that has to deal with this knows this a family process… and we are dealing with it and moving forward."
