Just two days into Wendy Williams' television return, we have enough drama to make up for her months-long absence. Fans of her daytime talk show are used to listening to the iconic host discuss the entertainment world's "hot topics" but upon her return, she was forced to discuss her own reported marital problems. Issues in her marriage with Kevin Hunter had become the subject of many headlines after Wendy took time away from her show to heal a shoulder fracture. She denied that anything weird was going on in her family on Monday, using yesterday's show to address her previous problems with substance abuse.

Williams has been vocal in the past about suffering from addiction. According to DailyMail, she began the show yesterday by touching on drug abuse and her experiences with it. "You know this about me. I told you I've had my bouts with substance abuse," says the entertainer. "Once you're a substance abuser, you have to battle that for the rest of your life."

The host goes on to detail her struggles with specific substances, reminding the crowd that "crack is wack." "I was a mess, functioning, killing myself. So I realized that I am a walking addict," says Wendy when speaking about how she used to use crack cocaine regularly. "You can't just clean it up and stop it and think that it's not going to affect you."
