Tekashi 6ix9ine is known for bringing an air of tension with him whenever he touches down, but tonight (October 13), his reputation got him banned. As reported by TMZ, Tekashi was turned away at the Nassau Coliseum after attempting to meet up with 50 Cent for Bellator 208: Fedor vs. Sonnen. 50 serves as Bellator's brand ambassador, but sources claim he wasn't in the building yet. The same sources claim it wouldn't have mattered if the G-Unit leader was there either way. Removing the ban on Tekashi is apparently out of 50's reach.
TMZ reports that Tekashi's ban stems from the shooting at Barclays Center. The incident, which involved Tekashi's crew and Casanova's crew, ended with a gunshot being fired and the rainbow-haired rapper being banned from Barclays. The same company that owns the Nassau Coliseum owns Barclays, a fact that most likely slipped Tekashi's mind when he attempted to enter the building.
Sources close to Tekashi responded to the ban, telling TMZ, "It is unfortunate a venue would take it upon itself to treat a person unfairly based on allegations. What happened tonight at the Nassau Coliseum is disappointing." For live updates on the match between Fedor Emelianenko and Chael Sonnen, head over here.
