Russ and Scott Storch come back with their second single in two days.

Russ has been having quite the summer. The rapper's debut album There's Really A Wolf recently has gone gold and the two leading singles off the project have recently hit platinum status. Along with that, he was seen in the studio with super-producer Scott Storch. Yesterday, he released the single "Think Twice" which was produced by Storch and today, the two of them link up once again for "Prosper".

Russ has his own unique sound to it that's been inspired by rappers from the early 2000's. While Scott Storch's reign was during that time, it makes sense why the two have such great chemistry together on the track. With Storch's signature sound and Russ' raspy rap-sing flow, the duo continue their streak with another tough tune. While Russ takes pride on his come-up in the rap game without having to sell out on his beliefs or his music, this song elaborates on that idea. On the hook he sings "No fake shit against me shall prosper, Yes I came I saw I conquered,  continuing to let everyone know that regardless of what many have done to get in their position in the rap game, he takes gratification that he never had to fake in order to make his career work for him.

It's another heater for Russ and Scott Storch. Although the two artists come from different generations, their chemistry together work incredibly. Russ sounds completely in his zone on both tracks that he's released that have been produced by Storch. While Storch isn't necessarily producing for the bigger names at the same rate as he was in the early 2000's, he's definitely found someone from the younger generation that fits his style. After Wayne's recent hospitalization, he took to Instagram to post a picture of him and Weezy in the studio together. Hopefully we receive that collaboration soon.
