Meek Mill is set to make his "SNL" debut later this month.

A year ago today, Meek Mill was sitting behind bars for a probation violation while the #FreeMeek campaign was going strong across the globe. Thankfully, much has changed since then. The rapper is a now free man who's fresh off the release from his latest chart-topper, Championships. Now, the rapper is set to make his SNL debut later this month.

Meek Mill will be blessing the SNL stage later this month as he continues to push Championships. Meek is set to make his SNL debut on Jan. 26th with James McAvoy -- who stars in M. Night Shyamalan's latest film Glass -- as host. It should make for a good episode. It's unsure what Meek Mill will be performing, but hopefully, he brings out some of the star guests he included on Championships.

Following his appearance on Saturday Night Live, Meek Mill will be bringing Championships to a city near you. The "Motivation" tour is set to kick off next month on Feb. 16th. The rapper's tour will kick off in Miami, FL at The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater before he concludes the tour in Atlanta at The Coca-Cola Roxy on March 24th. The 16-date tour will also be touching down in other major American cities such as Houston, TX, Los Angeles, and New York City. Meek will also be making his return to his hometown of Philadelphia on March 15th at The MET.
